The university honors their memory through time-honored traditions like Silver Taps, held in their honor. Before each ceremony, their names are displayed at two locations in Academic Plaza: on the base of the flagpole and on the Silver Taps sculpture, which features an Aggie Band bugle resting atop a flag. These markers ensure that Blake and Zaiyan are remembered as part of the heart of the campus, where their legacy continues to inspire and guide the Aggie community.

As the Aggie family comes together in grief, they also come together to celebrate the lives and legacies of these two young men. The Spirit Plaza, home to the Silver Taps sculpture and other markers, stands as a testament to remembrance and the enduring traditions that honor Aggies who have passed, ensuring that Blake Dorman and Zaiyan Xu will never be forgotten.
