It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we mourn the tragic passing of 12-year-old Mark Hlovatsky, who left us far too soon due to injuries sustained in a devastating car accident on March 28. What was supposed to be a joyous family vacation to Florida turned into an unimaginable tragedy, forever altering the lives of Mark’s family and all who loved him.
Mark was a bright and caring young boy, full of life, laughter, and love. His joyful spirit and infectious smile could light up any room, and his presence was a blessing to everyone he encountered. Mark’s bond with his brothers, Deny (15) and Dave (9), was a source of endless joy. Together, they were inseparable, sharing childhood adventures, dreams, and unforgettable memories. The loss of such a vibrant and kind-hearted child has left an irreplaceable hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community.
This tragedy has left Mark’s parents, Yuliya and Yuriy, reeling from the loss of their son. Though they were spared from severe physical injuries, the emotional toll they are enduring is something no parent should ever have to face. The anguish they are experiencing as they navigate the pain of losing their beloved Mark is unimaginable. Our hearts and prayers go out to them as they struggle to cope with this overwhelming grief.
